Our Association is a non-profit organization established in 1975 in the name of the Bihar Karate Do Association, under the leadership of Sardar Joginder Singh Kashyap, a well-known businessman who had a keen interest in promoting the art of Karate in Jamshedpur. He was also awarded the ERDA award from Sri Sharad Yadav when he was a labor minister.

The Association was founded with the aim of bringing in experienced coaches from Malaysia and Japan to improve the level of Karate in the region. Some of the coaches who were instrumental in shaping the association's initial years were Climent Shoo, Dashikant, and Toniphoniha.
