13 Young Karate Athletes Bring Glory to Jamshedpur with an Outstanding International Performance

The young karate athletes of Namda Centre, Jamshedpur, have once again made the city proud with an outstanding performance at the 10th International Karate Championship 2026, held at the prestigious Netaji Subhash Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, from 31st July to 2nd August 2026.

Representing Namda Centre, 13 talented karate students competed against participants from different countries and demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, confidence and fighting spirit.

24 Medals for Namda Centre!

The Namda Centre team returned from Kolkata with an impressive collection of:

4 Gold Medals
10 Silver Medals
10 Bronze Medals

TOTAL: 24 MEDALS 

The championship featured participation from India, Nepal, Bhutan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom (UK), Malaysia, Indonesia and South Africa, with around 5,000 participants taking part in the prestigious event.

All 13 athletes are trained under the guidance of Shihan Dr. Pradeep Singh Saggu, Chief Instructor of Shito Ryu Karate India Organization.

Speaking about the achievement, Shihan Dr. Pradeep Singh Saggu congratulated all the players for their outstanding performance and appreciated their dedication and fighting spirit.

He said that the achievement is not only a proud moment for the players and their families but also for Namda Centre and Jamshedpur. He further emphasized that continuous training and participation in national and international competitions will help young athletes develop confidence, discipline and competitive experience.
